My husband, Brian and I go for our coffee date each Saturday to a little coffee shop called Olive Olios in Cadboro Bay in Victoria. We have met this lovely lady, Daphne who lost Ajax a year prior to us meeting her. With tears in her eyes, she told us many stories of Ajax. She brought a photo of herself and Ajax sitting outside of Olive Olios. Daphne always comes to the coffee shop with her crossword puzzle enjoying her coffee. Whenever she was stumped for a word, she would turn to Ajax to ask for his input. This is the painting I did of them both. In memory of Ajax.
